Skill Level: Advanced beginner

 This is the fastest capelet in the history of the world. Maybe. 

Materials:

• 500 yards [457 m] Aran weight yarn (try Peace Fleece, Mountain Mohair, or Mousam Falls!)

• 16” [40 cm] and 24” [60 cm) circular needle in US 9 [5.5 mm], or size needed to obtain gauge

• Darning needle or crochet hook for weaving ends

• 4 stitch markers

Gauge: 14 sts and 19 rounds = 4” [10 cm] in stockinette stitch

Notes: Gauge is not terribly important here, as you create the size raglan-style. Simply add more or less increase rounds to get the size you want.
