Swaledale (n) - a breed of sheep named after the Yorkshire Valley of Swaledale, found in mountainous areas across Yorkshire, Durham and Cumbria. The Specimen range of Greetings Cards has been inspired by carefully labelled specimens collected and stored in Natural History Museums, each with a careful note of their species in latin written in calligraphy underneath. They're a great way to buy one of my original watercolour paintings, and look spectacular framed. This sheep has been hand painted in watercolour before being digitally printed in the UK onto 300gsm recycled card using eco-friendly inks. Also the Bison greetings cards are blank inside - perfect for you to write, draw and doodle in! Each card is sent 'naked' and plastic-free, with a brown kraft paper envelope included. Dimensions: A6, 105 × 148 mm
